Note from Merry: Memorial Day is coming up this weekend, and summer vacation is approaching fast on its heels. Many consider Memorial Day weekend to be the beginning of the travel season, the unofficial opening of summer. I’m really excited about today’s guest post about traveling with children. It comes from Kendra Thornton, of Thornton Public Relations. Prior to starting Thornton PR in 2005, Kendra was the Director of Corporate Communications at Orbitz, one of the world’s largest travel sites, plus she’s a fellow mom of 3, so she really knows her stuff!! Cherry Hill, NJ TGIFriday’s, round two…


Believe me, I write this post rather reluctantly. I really didn’t want to write it at all, but I did promise an update whenever one occurred…

I have written in a previous post about an awful experience we had at the TGIFriday’s in Cherry Hill, NJ. A rep from Guest Relations had reached out to me, and a couple days later, the manager of the Cherry Hill Friday’s also contacted me, and I was sent some “Be Our Guest” passes to try that location again. He’d also asked me to call in advance to let me know we would be coming, as we may have had our children with us and he wanted to make KinderGirl’s ruined birthday dinner up to her. Continue reading
